LIVE Online Classroom
In the past, UOG had a subscription to Elluminate. However, we
have had to explore alternatives for various reasons. Among the
alternatives that we have found are the following:
- Joule Sync - This
is Moodle's version of Elluminate and is built right into
the Moodle classroom. The UOG Moodle Help Team is currently
testing this tool, as it is new and is being made available
as part of our Moodle upgrade.
- GoToMeeting - This
is an online meeting subscription that we recently acquired.
It works very much the same as Elluminate and Joule 2, but
may actually offer benefits in the way of better quality in
video and audio as well as the ability to record the live
sessions in a more universal AVI format.
